In the field of GCSE Mathematics, Edexcel is the first choice, used by the majority of schools and colleges.  Our engaging and motivational approach to GCSE Mathematics is enhanced by a straightforward and accessible delivery, setting a new standard in classroom participation and curricular development.

Edexcel’s GCSE Mathematics is in line with the new two-tier assessment model stipulated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).  The new assessment model allows all students to gain a Grade C in GCSE Mathematics if their work proves to be deserving.

Further developments from QCA have meant the removal of the coursework element for first teaching in September 2007 and first certification in 2009.
